100_5577 Unless you’re reading this via a newsreader, you might notice I’ve upgraded the look and feel around here.  The old plain template was good, it was just … plain.  The new template is from Bytes For All and the images that will rotate through the header are all mine from the road.  If you like or dislike, feel free to leave a comment.

For those lucky readers who did leave a comment previously and then waited anxiously for them to appear, in vain, I’ve changed the comments setup so they don’t need to be moderated right now.  I’m so rarely in Wi-fi range that it’s kinda ridiculous for me to delay the gratification of the lone reader who wanders through here and decides to put in his/her two cents because I’m nowhere where I can get email.  So go for it!  And pray Askimet catches the spam…

Once again my laptop crapped out on me, once again I’m going through the slow process of rebuilding.  Tedious… fucking tedious, especially over Wi-fi.  I’m having problems recovering the 5000+ pictures I entrusted to one of those on-line web backup services.  I’ll not mention them by name ’til this mess is sorted out, one way or the other.  I guess I’ll put up a picture on this post, I might have even used it before.

The reason I have all this time to dick around with web templates and such?  Once again, I sit waiting for a load, this time in Rogers, MN.  When I’m not sitting on my thumbs, I twiddle them.  First clockwise and then counterclockwise, just for the variety…

sigh…

  • Found you through Roadside Manners. I spent 17 years doing what you are doing now. Your header pics are great. Like looking out the window of my 65 Louiville Ford gas tractor on my way to Cleveland. I don’t miss the road. But I do miss the whackos that make up the trucking industry.

    Keep it ‘tween the ditches.

Thanks about the header pics, I just point the camera out my “office window,” and click away sometimes… BTW: the whackos are still out here and stronger than ever!
